At the New Hall Veterinary Centre, we offer a range of complementary therapies which include herbal treatments, homeopathy and acupuncture.
This involves the use of purified plant extracts in a “conventional” therapeutic form. There is a controlled extraction of a variety of active plant-based chemicals which are then presented in a tablet, capsule, oral liquid or ointment.
The use of highly-diluted plant toxins in a liquid form. We use some extremely toxic plant extracts that are then diluted into many millionths or billionths of their original form in a water-based medicine.
The ancient Chinese therapy involving the placement of tiny needles into specific sites of the body. The needles are placed over specific, small nerve sites to cause the release of active healing messengers and energies to effect relief or cure. We find that acupuncture is highly effective in chronic pain relief; either on its own or in addition to other pain therapies.
Complementary treatments are often recommend alongside more ‘conventional’ drug treatment. We will be happy to discuss the options with you.
